Hmmmm.....I'm commenting in English on a post I didn't use Google to translate. Hopefully this isn't a recipe for disaster!
Anyway, I'm writing to ask about a Vavstuga. I know they're places where there are multiple looms and multiple weavers. But I don't understand how they work. Who owns the building? Who owns the looms? Is there a teaching component to a Vavstuga? Do you pay to weave there? Do you get paid? (Do I seem really American asking all kinds of impertinent financial questions?)
It seems like it would be great to have a really communal place to work on projects. I'm just wondering how it works!
But it is a hard question. A vävstuga could be anything with a loom in it!
Our vävstuga is a big room (basically for storage) in the basement of a small mall. We rent it from the landlord and share the cost between us. Some of the weavers have looms at home but likes the coffee, and others (like me) don't have room for a loom at home.
The looms are mostly a loan from a college, but we have no teacher. And what to weave... well some have ideas, some don't. Some want to weave just rag rugs, and some don't...

No disaster!

Hopefully this is readable.
